Music in Action - Community Care Homes Outreach

In 2025, 30 inspiring music sessions have been delivered free of charge in care homes across Jersey. Made possible by the generous sponsorship of LV Care Group, this programme brings live music directly to residents—many of whom are unable to attend concerts in the community. The sessions feature a vibrant mix of professional artists from the Jersey Chamber Orchestra, emerging young musicians, and local talent, alongside Music in Action’s own Wenceslao on oboe and Sean on violin.

The impact has been deeply felt: residents have responded with joy, emotion, and connection, often sharing memories sparked by the music. Care staff have reported noticeable boosts in mood and wellbeing, as well as moments of real engagement. We are deeply grateful to LV Care Group for their support in making this meaningful project possible, and for helping us bring the power of music to those who need it most.
