Common
questions
Yes, of course you can. You or your loved one can come and see the building, look at the rooms and facilities. We can have a cup of team and slice of cake and discuss what you next moves might be.
We understand how important it is for residents to stay connected with the people who matter to them. Visiting is not restricted to set times unless there is a clear safety reason. Friends and family are welcome to visit regularly, and we encourage ongoing contact as part of everyday life in the home.
Yes. We support a wide range of specialist diets and nutritional needs. This includes medical diets, texture-modified meals, diabetic requirements, food allergies, cultural preferences and personal choices.
We assess each resident’s nutritional needs as part of their care plan. Where needed, we work with GPs, dieticians and speech and language therapists to ensure meals are safe and appropriate.
Support is available at all times. Residents can speak directly to a member of staff, and help can also be requested using the call system in their room. In our nursing settings, qualified nurses are on duty day and night to respond to any medical concerns.
Family members can also raise questions or concerns with the home manager or senior team. We encourage open communication and aim to respond promptly, clearly and respectfully.
Our fees are designed to cover the core elements of care and daily living. This includes accommodation, meals, personal care, utilities, housekeeping and access to activities within the home. If nursing care is required, this is included within the agreed fee structure.
Some additional services, such as hairdressing, private therapies or personal items, may carry an extra cost. These are always discussed in advance so families can make informed decisions. Our aim is to be open and straightforward, with no unexpected charges.
